Laser Hair Removal

I tried SW1’s laser hair removal for lower legs. From the get-go, the beauty sages at SW1 made me feel very comfortable. As a first timer with a low level of pain tolerance, they applied numbing cream on my skin so that I wouldn’t feel the pain. Thereafter, Dr Mavis gave me a consultation so that I knew what to expect. After examining my skin and androgenic hair, she explained that the laser treatment was more suitable for thin hair as compared to IPL. She also patiently walked me through the treatment process. I was told that over the next 3 weeks, the androgenic hairs would fall off, and when they grow back, they will be much finer and less noticeable.
When the laser came into contact with my skin, it felt like spurts of cold water. Sometimes, it felt like a rubber band was snapping against my skin, but the pain was hardly noticeable. Including the 10-minute waiting time for the numbing cream to settle, the entire process took around 30 to 40 minutes.
A few days after the treatment, I have noticed some of the androgenic hair falling off. Post treatment, I was careful not to expose my skin to direct sunlight. All in all, it was a comfortable and fuss-free treatment.
