SW1 Spa was founded by Dr Low Chai Ling, who opened The Sloane Clinic in 2003 — named for her ambition to one day practise on London’s Sloane Street. SW1 is the postcode where that street sits. It is also where our name came from when the practice grew into SW1 Clinic.

Today SW1 Spa sits within SW1 Clinic at Paragon, one of Singapore’s largest aesthetic and plastic surgery centres. That proximity matters. Our facials are designed by doctors and delivered by trained therapists, which places them deliberately in the space between a traditional scrub-and-mask and a visit to a doctor’s room — more effective than the first, gentler than the second.

What we are actually good at

Skin that lives in Singapore. Air-conditioned offices that strip the barrier. Humidity that congests pores. Year-round UV rather than a summer season. And Asian skin’s tendency toward post-inflammatory pigmentation, where any spot, any irritation, any aggressive treatment can leave a mark that outlasts the original problem by months. Our treatments are built around those realities rather than imported wholesale from a Western skincare playbook.

After many thousands of Deep Red treatments, we have become known as a no-nonsense skin spa that gets results using methods we can explain to you. Our Illumi Facial and 24K Uplift have both been recognised at the Her World Spa Awards.

How we work

We ask what is actually bothering you. We tell you honestly what will help and what will not. We do not sell you a package you do not need, and we will happily tell you when a single session is enough. Not every complexion is the same, which is why we offer options rather than one signature treatment for everyone.

And we do not take ourselves too seriously

Good skin is worth being serious about. The hour you spend getting there is not. Expect straight answers, a comfortable bed, and someone who is genuinely interested in your face.
