What should we protect our skin from?

Pollution

Air pollution contains PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons), which can lead to skin cancer, dehydration, compromised barrier function, inflammation, loss of elasticity and firmness, and uneven skin tone.

Cigarettes

Even smoking just 1 cigarette can constrict blood flow in the skin for up to 90 minutes.

Stress

Did you know more stress can lead to more oil production, more redness and slower cell turnover?

Product build-up

Heavy use of sunscreen and makeup without proper cleansing can lead to skin dullness, congestion and irritation.

Exfoliate

Did you know when you are in your 30s, cellular skin cell turnover takes 20 days more than it did when you were in your 20s? Don’t underestimate the importance of this step and start committing to exfoliating at least once a week to slough off dead skin cells that’s responsible for a dull appearance and preventing all the other good skincare products from doing what they’re supposed to.

Charcoal

Activated charcoal draws bacteria and dirt to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and even fight acne. This is a must-do weekly treatment for healthy skin.
